Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis internet dalam dunia pendidikan. Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara guru dan siswa berinteraksi dalam proses pembelajaran. Internet memungkinkan kegiatan belajar dilakukan secara fleksibel tanpa batas ruang dan waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek 20 guru dan 40 siswa dari beberapa sekolah menengah di Kota Medan (data simulasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis internet memberikan kemudahan dalam akses materi dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala berupa keterbatasan jaringan internet, kurangnya keterampilan digital guru, dan gangguan fokus belajar siswa akibat distraksi media sosial. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the use of internet-based learning media in education. The development of information technology has changed the way teachers and students interact in the learning process. The internet allows learning activities to be carried out flexibly without the limitations of space and time. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with 20 teachers and 40 students from several secondary schools in Medan City (simulation data) as subjects. The results showed that internet-based learning media provides easy access to materials and increases student learning motivation. However, obstacles were still found in the form of limited internet networks, lack of teachers' digital skills, and disruption of student learning focus due to social media distractions.
