<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Cancer pain is one of the most frequently felt complaints besides bleeding caused by cervical cancer. The treatment for pain that is often given is pharmacological therapy or drugs which have many side effects if used for a long time.The aim of this study was to determine the effect of of the combination of Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) therapy with lavender aromaterapy on reducing pain intensity in cervical cancer sufferers at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province. The research is a quantitative research with a quasi experimental design using a randomized control group pretest-posttest method in the experimental group and control group. Carried out from February-July 2024 on 19 people in the intervention group and 19 people in the control group. Data was collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed univariately and bivariately using the T Test, and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table of pretest, posttest pain intensity, and a comparison of the reduction in pain intensity in the intervention group and the control group. Based on the results using the mean difference test (T Test),it was found that there was a difference average reduction in pretest and posttest pain intensity between the control group and the intervention group with a p-value (0,000). Conclusion is It can be conclude that the combination of Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) therapy with lavender aromatherapy has an effect on reducing pain intensity in cervical cancer sufferers at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province. It is hoped that an SOP for the combination of SSBM therapy with lavender aromatherapy can be develoved so that it can be applied by health workers to cervical cancer patients to reduce their pain. Penanganan nyeri yang sering kali diberikan adalah pemberian terapi farmakologi atau obat-obatan yang memberikan banyak efek samping apabila digunakan dalam jangka waktu lama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi terapi Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) dengan aromaterapi lavender terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri pada penderita kanker serviks di RSUD dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi experiment menggunakan metode randomized control group pre test-post test pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dilakukan dari Februari-Juli 2024 terhadap 19 orang kelompok intervensi dan 19 orang kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kemudian dianalisa secara univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji T Test, dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi intensitas nyeri pretest, posttest, dan perbandingan penurunan intensitas nyeri pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil dengan menggunakan uji beda rata-rata (T-Test) bahwa didapatkan perbedaan penurunan rata-rata intensitas nyeri pre test dan posttest pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi dengan nilai p-value (0,000). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kombinasi terapi Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) dengan aromaterapi lavender berpengaruh terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri pada penderita kanker serviks di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung. Diharapkan SOP kombinasi terapi SSBM dengan aromaterapi lavender dapat dikembangkan sehingga dapat diaplikasikan oleh tenaga kesehatan kepada pasien kanker serviks untuk mengurangi nyerinya.
