<![CDATA[Abstract. Islamic science is growing rapidly with all its dynamics. There are four main philosophical currents that previously existed independently of one another: paripatetic philosophy, illumination philosophy, irfan philosophy and theological philosophy. The development gave rise to a novel philosophical school of thought, which synthesised the ideas of preceding philosophical schools. This synthesis is exemplified by the al-hikmah al-muta’aliyah philosophy propounded by Mulla Sadra. Subsequently, Mulla Sadra's epistemology became a framework of thought that could be adopted in various other scientific concepts, not least in the study of Islamic economics. The present study aims to ascertain the relevance of Mulla Sadra's thought in relation to Islamic economics. The approach adopted in this study is descriptive qualitative, incorporating a systematic review of the extant literature. The findings of this study suggest that Mulla Sadra's philosophical tenets can be integrated into the discourse of Islamic economics, with the objective of cultivating economic actors who demonstrate obedience to Allah SWT. Abstrak. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan Islam menunjukkan dinamika yang sangat pesat dengan munculnya berbagai aliran filsafat besar seperti paripatetik, iluminasi, irfan, dan teologi. Keempat aliran tersebut semula berdiri sendiri, namun Mulla Sadra berhasil menyintesiskannya menjadi satu kesatuan sistem filsafat yang disebut al-hikmah al-muta‘aliyah. Filsafat ini mengintegrasikan akal, wahyu, dan intuisi dalam kerangka epistemologi Islam yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi epistemologi Mulla Sadra terhadap pengembangan keilmuan ekonomi Islam yang berorientasi pada integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dan rasionalitas ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) melalui penelusuran sistematis terhadap karya primer Mulla Sadra serta literatur sekunder yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep-konsep filosofis seperti kesatuan wujud (wahdat al-wujud), gradasi wujud (tasykik al-wujud), dan gerak substansial (al-harakah al-jauhariyyah) memiliki implikasi penting bagi penguatan paradigma keilmuan ekonomi Islam. Kesimpulannya, epistemologi Mulla Sadra dapat menjadi landasan filosofis untuk membangun sistem ekonomi Islam yang holistik, berkeadilan, dan berorientasi pada pengabdian kepada Allah SWT.]]>
