AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil belajar dan minat belajar siswa kelas XI SMA IT Albina Kota Ternate pada materi struktur atom. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan teknik sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 18 orang dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes esai sebanyak 10 soal untuk mengukur hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan angket sebanyak 20 pernyataan untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan perhitungan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa secara individu tergolong rendah dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 43,11, nilai tertinggi 66, dan nilai terendah 24. Berdasarkan kriteria hasil belajar, tidak terdapat siswa pada kategori sangat tinggi, sebanyak 1 siswa (5%) berada pada kategori tinggi, 9 siswa (50%) berada pada kategori sedang, dan 8 siswa (40%) berada pada kategori rendah. Berdasarkan analisis hasil belajar pada item gabungan tiap ranah kognitif, diperoleh persentase capaian ranah C2 (memahami) sebesar 15,38%, C3 (menerapkan) sebesar 14,64%, C4 (menganalisis) sebesar 15,74%, dan C6 (mencipta) sebesar 13,49%, yang seluruhnya berada pada kualifikasi sangat rendah. Hasil analisis minat belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa aspek perhatian memperoleh persentase tertinggi sebesar 87% dengan kualifikasi sangat tinggi. Aspek perasaan senang dan ketertarikan masing-masing memperoleh persentase sebesar 61% dengan kualifikasi tinggi, sedangkan aspek keterlibatan siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 72% dengan kualifikasi tinggi. Secara umum, minat belajar siswa terhadap materi struktur atom tergolong baik, namun belum diikuti oleh capaian hasil belajar yang optimal.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, minat belajar, struktur atom, pendidikan kimia. AbstractThis study aims to analyze the learning outcomes and learning interest of eleventh-grade students at SMA IT Albina, Ternate City, on atomic structure material. This research employed a descriptive approach with a saturated sampling technique, involving all 18 students of class XI as the research sample. The research instruments consisted of an essay test comprising 10 questions to measure students’ cognitive learning outcomes and a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements to measure students’ learning interest. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis through percentage calculations. The results showed that students’ individual learning outcomes were classified in the low category, with an average score of 43.11, a highest score of 66, and a lowest score of 24. Based on the learning outcome criteria, no students were categorized as very high, 1 student (5%) was in the high category, 9 students (50%) were in the moderate category, and 8 students (40%) were in the low category. The analysis of combined items for each cognitive domain showed that the achievement percentages were 15.38% for C2 (understanding), 14.64% for C3 (applying), 15.74% for C4 (analyzing), and 13.49% for C6 (creating), all of which were classified as very low. The analysis of students’ learning interest indicated that the attention aspect obtained the highest percentage of 87% with a very high qualification. The aspects of enjoyment and interest each achieved 61% with a high qualification, while the aspect of student involvement reached 72% with a high qualification. Overall, students’ learning interest in atomic structure material was categorized as good; however, it was not followed by optimal learning outcomes.Keyword:earning outcomes, learning interest, atomic structure, chemistry education
