Abstract

Abstrak: Pokdakan Kallang Bayang merupakan mitra kegiatan Pengabdian Berbasis Kemitraan Masyarakat yang bergerak dalam budidaya udang vaname di kawasan Muara Sungai Jeneberang, Kampung Lette, Makassar. Kelompok ini beranggotakan 15 orang dan menghadapi permasalahan keterbatasan pendapatan, jangkauan pemasaran yang sempit, serta kerentanan kolam terhadap banjir. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, pengelolaan usaha, dan penataan ruang budidaya melalui penerapan teknologi Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui pelatihan teknis sistem filtrasi RAS, pembangunan kolam bioflokulasi berstruktur beton, penguatan manajemen kelembagaan, serta perancangan zonasi tata ruang usaha budidaya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan RAS mampu meningkatkan survival rate udang hingga lebih dari 80% melalui efisiensi penggunaan air dan stabilitas kualitas lingkungan. Infrastruktur kolam beton juga meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap banjir dan menurunkan risiko kerusakan. Inovasi teknologi dan penguatan kapasitas kelompok terbukti meningkatkan produksi udang konsumsi dan adaptivitas usaha, meskipun pengembangan lanjutan masih diperlukan untuk efisiensi energi dan keberlanjutan budidaya.Abstract: Pokdakan Kallang Bayang is a partner in the Community-Based Partnership Service program engaged in vaname shrimp farming in the Muara Sungai Jeneberang area, Kampung Lette, Makassar. This group consists of 15 members and faces problems of limited income, narrow marketing reach, and pond vulnerability to flooding. This community service activity aims to increase production capacity, business management, and cultivation space planning through the application of Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology. The implementation method is carried out participatively through technical training on the RAS filtration system, construction of concrete bioflocculation ponds, strengthening of institutional management, and the design of cultivation business zoning. The results of the activity show that the application of RAS can increase the survival rate of shrimp to more than 80% through efficient water use and stable environmental quality. Concrete pond infrastructure also increases resistance to flooding and reduces the risk of damage. Technological innovation and capacity building of the group have been proven to increase shrimp production and business adaptability, although further development is still needed for energy efficiency and sustainable aquaculture.
