<![CDATA[Abstrak: Permasalahan saat ini adalah: (1) Masyarakat khususnya ibu rumah tangga, belum memahami pentingnya mengetahui metode penggunaan dan pengoperasian listrik di rumah; dan (2) Tidak ada wadah atau organisasi untuk ibu rumah tangga, yang terkait dengan sumber informasi mengenai bahaya penggunaan listrik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman warga permukiman, tentang pentingnya penggunaan listrik rumah tangga, serta mengetahui tata cara menghemat energi listrik yang baik dan benar, serta manfaat dari berorganisasi. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan contoh, dengan pendekatan Pelatihan Partisipatif yang melibatkan warga lorong 3-5 sekitar 63 ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang ikut berpartisipasi, melalui beberapa tahapan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa, sekitar 70% peningkatan wawasan mitra (ibu-ibu rumah tangga) yang cukup memahami tentang berbagai bentuk edukasi yang dilaksanakan pada lokasi kawasan permukiman padat penduduk. Untuk kegiatan sosialisasi oleh pengurus Aisyiyah, antusiasme ibu-ibu untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut tentang keberhasilan organisasi 'Aisyiyah" cukup mendapat respon positif. Melalui sosialisasi tersebut, tentunya banyak harapan bahwa organisasi tersebut menjadi potensi bagi perempuan dalam melakukan berbagai kegiatan, yang akan melanjutkan visi misi organisasi.Abstract: The current problems are: (1) The community, especially housewives, do not understand the importance of knowing the method of using and operating electricity at home; and (2) There is no forum or organization for housewives related to sources of information about the dangers of using electricity. This activity aims to increase the awareness of residents of settlements about the importance of using household electricity, as well as knowing the proper and correct ways to save electricity, as well as the benefits of being organised. The method of implementation uses demonstration methods and examples, with a participatory training approach involving about 45 housewives from aisle 3-5 residents, through several stages. The results of the service show that, around 70% increase in the insight of partners (housewives) who understand enough about various forms of education carried out in densely populated residential areas.
