Abstract: Administration of school affairs in improving quality has not functioned optimally, as evidenced by the fact that the competence of administrative staff in budget recording and the utilization of technology has not been maximized. This study aims to map and analyze the function of administrative management in improving the quality of education at SD Negeri 36 Bengkulu City. Using a descriptive qualitative method. The data sources were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman theory. The results of the study indicate that administrative management, which includes student data management, finance, staffing, correspondence, and inventory, has not yet been effective and efficient. Educational quality, which consists of input, process, and output, is interrelated and functions to create quality education. In general, the function of administrative management has worked quite well in improving the quality of education, such as the management of student data, finance, staffing, correspondence, and inventory. However, at the implementation level, administrative management has not been optimal because administrative staff have not performed effectively, for example budget recording and the utilization of technology have not been maximized. Thus, it can be concluded that the function of administrative management plays a very important role in improving the quality of education, although several obstacles—such as the competence of administrative staff, challenges in budget recording, and limited utilization of technology—are still present and have not been functioning effectively. Therefore, it is suggested that in order to improve the quality of education, the administrative management functions in schools must be strengthened.Keywords: Function, Administrative Management, Educational Quality. Abstrak: Administrasi tata usaha dalam meningkatkan mutu belum berfungsi secara optimal, terlihat kompetensi staf tata usaha dalam pencatatan anggaran dan pemanfaatan teknologi belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan dan menganalisis fungsi administrasi tata usaha dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 36 Kota Bengkulu. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data didapat melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi tata usaha yang mencakup pengelolaan data siswa, keuangan, kepegawaian, tata persuratan dan inventaris belum lebih efektif dan efisien. Mutu pendidikan meliputi input, proses, dan output saling terkait berfungsi menciptakan mutu pendidikan. Fungsi administrasi tata usaha secara umum telah berfungsi cukup baik dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, seperti pengelolaan data siswa, keuangan, kepegawaian, tata persuratan dan inventaris barang, namun pada tingkat pelaksanaan administrasi belum optimal, karena staf tata usaha belum berfungsi secara baik, seperti pencatatan anggaran dan pemanfaatan teknologi belum maksimal. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa fungsi administrasi tata usaha berperan sangat penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, meskipun beberapa kendala seperti kompetensi staf tata usaha, kendala dalam pencatatan anggaran dan pemanfaatan teknologi masih terbatas dan belum berfungsi secara baik. Oleh karena itu dapat disarankan, bahwa untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan maka tingkatkan fungsi administrasi tata usaha di sekolah.Kata kunci: Fungsi, Administrasi Tata Usaha, Mutu Pendidikan.
