Analisis Kesiapan Guru dan Siswa dalam Model SRBP Terhadap Literasi Sains dan Problem solving

Abstract

Teacher and student readiness is an important factor in the implementation of quality learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the readiness of teachers and students in elementary schools in the literacy-based SRBP learning model towards scientific literacy and problem solving in science learning. The research method uses a Mix Method approach with data collection through Percipsive Sampling. Participants numbered 30 respondents consisting of one teacher and 29 fourth-grade students at an elementary school in Kebumen district. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and non-tests. The test was in the form of essay questions related to problem solving for students. For non-tests in the form of questionnaires and interviews for teachers and students related to the readiness of the SRBP model, scientific literacy, and problem solving. The data analysis technique in this study used a 5-level Likert scale for quantitative data and for qualitative data with three stages: Data reduction, Data display (data presentation), and Conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study indicate that teachers and students are quite ready in the SRBP learning model towards scientific literacy and problem solving but need continued training and the provision of reading books that suit their needs. Therefore, this research recommends the application of the SRBP model to science literacy and problem-solving, taking into account both student and teacher abilities in science instruction in elementary schools to determine its impact on learning.Kesiapan guru dan siswa menjadi fator penting dalam terselengaranya pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian adalah Menganalisis kesiapan guru dan siswa di sekolah dasar dalam model pembelajaran SRBP berbasis literasi terhadap literasi sains dan problem solving pada pembelajaran IPA. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Mix Method dengan pengambilan data melalui Perpisive Sampling. Partisipan berjumlah 30 responden yang terdiri dari satu guru dan 29 siswa kelas IV pada salah satu SD di kecamatan Kebumen. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes dan non-tes. Tes berupa soal uraian yang berkaitan dengan problem solving bagi siswa. Untuk non-tes berupa angket dan wawancara untukĀ  guru dan siswa berkaitan dengan kesiapan model SRBP, literasi sanis, dan problem solving. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert 5 tingkat pada data kuantitatif dan pada data kualitatif dengan tiga tahap yaitu Data reduction, Data display (penyajian data), dan Conclusion drawing/ verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa sudah cukup siap dalam model pembelajaran SRBP terhadap literasi sains dan problem solving namun perlu adanya pelatihan berlanjut dan penyediaan buku bacaan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Jadi rekomendasi penelitian ini perlu adanya penerapan model SRBP terhadap literasi sains dan problem solving dengan memepertimbangkan kemampuan siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya dalam pembelajaran.
