Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Teaching Others method in improving students' understanding of materials and academic achievement at Tidar University. Based on Constructivism Theory and Social Learning Theory, this method emphasizes learning through social interaction and behavior modeling. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey techniques through Likert scale questionnaires distributed to Tidar University students from various majors. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics using SPSS software. The results showed that most students actively discussed, explained material to friends, and felt helped by peer tutors in understanding lecture material. The main findings showed that the activity of teaching others not only improved students' personal understanding, but also had a positive impact on their academic performance. The majority of respondents stated that the Teaching Others method is effective and supports collaborative learning that strengthens conceptual understanding and cooperation between students. Thus, this method is considered worthy of widespread application in higher education settings as an active and interactive learning strategy.
