<![CDATA[The lack of fruit and vegetable consumption in children is one of the problems that still occurs today. Lack of knowledge about the importance of consuming fruits and vegetables as part of a balanced nutritional diet is one of the causes. This can be overcome by providing nutrition education to increase knowledge. The purpose of this study was to increase knowledge about the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Wonorejo. A total of 52 students became respondents in this activity. This activity began with a pre-test then continued with providing educational materials about the importance of fruits and vegetables through lecture methods, using leaflets and discussion as aids. In addition, a pre-test and post-test were also conducted as a benchmark for the success of the educational activities. The pre-test results showed that the majority had a moderate level of knowledge (75%). After the educational activity, the results while the post-test results of 98.1% showed a high level of knowledge increase to 98%. The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05), which indicates that there is a significant difference between the level of knowledge before and after being given education.
