Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor antropogenik yang memperparah risiko banjir serta mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem drainase dan kebijakan mitigasi di Kelurahan Antang, Kecamatan Manggala, Kota Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yang menekankan pada pemahaman mendalam terhadap fenomena sosial, perilaku, dan pengalaman manusia. Adapun jenis pendekatannya adalah pendekatan deskriptif yang berusaha menggambarkan semua objek penelitian atau situasi objek penelitian, menganalisis dan mencoba memberikan solusi untuk masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alih fungsi lahan, pendangkalan saluran, dan perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang sampah menjadi faktor utama penyebab banjir. Drainase dan sumur resapan belum efektif karena kapasitas terbatas dan kondisi topografi rendah. Meskipun demikian, kesadaran masyarakat mulai meningkat melalui kegiatan gotong royong. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya kombinasi upaya struktural dan non-struktural dengan dukungan pemerintah dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat.   This study aims to analyze anthropogenic factors that exacerbate flood risk andevaluate the effectiveness of drainage systems and mitigation policies in Antang Village, Manggala District, Makassar City. The method used is a qualitative research type that emphasizes an in-depth understanding of social phenomena, behavior, and human experiences. The type of approach is a descriptive approach that attempts to describe all research objects or situations of research objects, analyze and try to provide solutions to the problems. The results of the study indicate that land conversion, channel silting, and community behavior in disposing of waste are the main factors causing flooding. Drainage and infiltration wells are not yet effective due to limited capacity and low topography. However, public awareness is starting to increase through mutual cooperation activities. This study emphasizes the need for a combination of structural and non-structural efforts with government support and active community participation.
