This study aims to analyze the contribution of the principal's leadership to improving student discipline and learning quality at MTs NW Benteng, Masbagik District, East Lombok Regency. The background to this study stems from the problems of inconsistent student discipline, suboptimal teaching and learning implementation by some teachers, limited supporting facilities, and the uneven influence of the principal's leadership across all levels. The focus of the study is directed at the principal's efforts to foster compliance with regulations, create a conducive learning climate, and improve learning quality through academic supervision, teacher coaching, and educator professional development. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants included the principal, teachers, students, and other relevant parties. Data analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the leadership of the madrasah principal at MTs NW Benteng has significantly contributed to improving student discipline through exemplary behavior, fostering habits, and reinforcing discipline, as well as creating a positive and religious learning climate. Regarding learning quality, the madrasah principal plays an active role in academic supervision, teacher professional development, and encouraging innovative learning methods. However, challenges remain, such as limited facilities, varying teacher motivations, and the need for ongoing monitoring. In conclusion, the transformational leadership of the madrasah principal has a significant influence on establishing a culture of discipline and improving learning quality. The implications of this research are expected to serve as a reference for developing educational leadership strategies, particularly in rural madrasahs.
