<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the impact of the participatory monitoring outreach program implemented by the Tangerang Regency Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) on increasing public involvement in monitoring the 2024 Regional Head Elections (Pilkada). This outreach program was designed to raise public awareness and understanding of the importance of their role in election oversight to ensure a transparent and accountable democratic process. This study used a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that despite the implementation of various outreach activities, such as seminars, public discussions, and volunteer training, the level of public involvement in oversight remains relatively low. Several factors contributing to this low level of public participation include low political literacy, limited access to information, and the inconsistency of outreach methods with the social and cultural characteristics of the local community. This study also identified that the communication strategy employed by Bawaslu was not fully effective in reaching all levels of society, particularly vulnerable groups and first-time voters. This study provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness of outreach through a more interactive and adaptive approach, as well as utilizing information technology and social media to expand public reach and participation in Pilkada oversight.
