<![CDATA[This study examines street vendors' perceptions of their children's formal education at the Cileungsi Fly Over Market, Bogor Regency, West Java. Street vendors not only struggle to meet their daily economic needs but also have to make important decisions regarding their children's educational future. This study aims to determine how vendors view formal education as a means to improve their families' social and economic lives and to identify the factors influencing these perceptions. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were street vendors operating around the Cileungsi Fly Over Market. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that vendors' perceptions of their children's formal education are influenced by their parents' educational background, family economic situation, past experiences, and social environment. While some vendors held a positive view of formal education, others doubted its relevance to their lives. Keywords: Street vendors, children's formal education, the Cileungsi Fly Over Market.]]>
