ABSTRACT: This study was motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students due to limited teaching materials and the lack of video-based media. Therefore, it aimed to develop a multimedia learning video that is valid, practical, and effective. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which consists of the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The development process involved multiple instruments, including learning outcome tests, expert validation questionnaires (covering content, language, and media), and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results indicated that the developed learning video was valid in terms of content, linguistic appropriateness, and media presentation. Moreover, the video was considered practical, as it is easy for both teachers and students to use in the learning process. The findings also demonstrated that the use of the learning video significantly improved students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities, with the classical completeness achievement exceeding the minimum standard. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed multimedia learning video is valid, practical, and effective. This product has the potential to serve as an innovative teaching resource that supports the enhancement of students’ mathematical problem-solving skills at the junior high school level. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa akibat keterbatasan bahan ajar dan media video, sehingga bertujuan mengembangkan video pembelajaran multimedia yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4D, yang mencakup tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Proses pengembangan melibatkan berbagai instrumen, seperti tes hasil belajar, angket validasi ahli (materi, bahasa, dan media), serta angket respons guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid dari segi isi materi, kelayakan bahasa, dan tampilan media. Selain itu, video tersebut dipandang praktis karena mudah digunakan oleh guru maupun siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa secara signifikan, dengan pencapaian ketuntasan klasikal yang melebihi standar minimal. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis multimedia yang dikembangkan telah terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif. Produk ini berpotensi menjadi salah satu alternatif solusi dalam menyediakan bahan ajar inovatif yang mendorong peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di tingkat SMP.
