Abstract

Abstrak   Penelitian ini mengevaluasi nilai Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) pada Gedung Perkuliahan Teknik Industri Universitas Malikussaleh sesuai SNI 6389-2020. Perhitungan menunjukkan nilai OTTV eksisting sebesar 39,94 W/m², melebihi batas maksimum 35 W/m². Berbagai modifikasi dilakukan pada variabel OTTV, meliputi warna cat (α), isolasi dinding luar (Uw), kaca ganda (Uf), rasio luas jendela-dinding (WWR), dan spesifikasi kaca (SC). Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada modifikasi spesifikasi kaca Cool Lite ST 108 Neutral 6 mm, yang menurunkan nilai OTTV menjadi 21,89 W/m² atau berkurang 45,19% dari kondisi eksisting. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pemilihan material selubung bangunan yang tepat sangat berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi energi dan kenyamanan termal, serta dapat dijadikan acuan dalam penerapan bangunan hemat energi di Indonesia.   Kata kunci: OTTV, efesiensi energi, bangunan gedung, kenyamanan termal.       Abstract   This study evaluates the Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) of the Industrial Engineering Lecture Building at Universitas Malikussaleh in accordance with SNI 6389-2020. The analysis shows that the existing OTTV value is 39.94 W/m², exceeding the maximum limit of 35 W/m². Several OTTV variables were modified, including wall color (α), wall insulation (Uw), double glazing (Uf), window-to-wall ratio (WWR), and glass specifications (SC). The most effective result was achieved with Cool Lite ST 108 Neutral 6 mm glass, reducing the OTTV to 21.89 W/m² or a 45.19% decrease from the existing condition. These findings demonstrate that proper selection of building envelope materials significantly improves energy efficiency and thermal comfort, providing valuable insights for the application of energy-efficient building design in Indonesia.   Keywords: OTTV, energy efficiency, building envelope, thermal comfort
