<![CDATA[Plantation partnerships constitute one of the instruments for community empowerment, juridically grounded in Law Number 39 of 2014 concerning Plantations as well as the contractual provisions set forth in the Civil Code. However, in practice, the implementation of partnership agreements frequently gives rise to various legal, economic, and social issues. This article examines and analyzes the implementation of the Oil Palm Plantation Partnership Cooperation Agreement between the core company and plasma farmers in Kuala Dasal Village, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Jambi Province.This research employs an empirical juridical method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that in its implementation there remains an imbalance in bargaining power between the company and the farmers, a lack of transparency in financial management and profit-sharing mechanisms, and limited understanding among farmers regarding the substance of the contract. Based on these findings, this article advocates for the reconstruction of oil palm plantation partnership agreements. Furthermore, it elaborates on the concept of an ideal oil palm plantation management agreement. ]]>
