The purpose of this study was to improve students' learning outcomes in grade VII of SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa through the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This research was a classroom action research with 25 students of grade VII SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa as the subjects. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, which included planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. In Cycle I, the average student score was 71.64 with a classical completeness percentage of 60%. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 84.2 with a classical completeness percentage of 88%. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve students' learning outcomes.
