Pop - Up Books are an alternative to improve understanding of concepts in elementary school students. This research aims to determine the difference between understanding the concepts of the control class and the experimental class and the influence of the Pop-Up Book on increasing the understanding of the concepts of class VI students in the solar system material. This research uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experiment as the research method. This research uses a One-Group design, which involves pretest testing before treatment and posttest testing in one specified group. The population in this study were all students at SD Negeri Sukaraja 1 who studied science learning material about the solar system. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a sample of 26 students in class IV A of SD Negeri Sukaraja 1 and 29 students in class IV B of SD Negeri Sukaraja 1. The results of the first data analysis showed that there were significant differences, because they both had differences, the N-Test was carried out. Gains.
