Nationalism is important to be taught to children, this is important so that children have a sense of love and pride for their homeland. This study aims to describe the cultivation of nationalism through social studies subjects in Class IV. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research was carried out at SD Negeri Pasiraman Kidul. The object of the study was the cultivation of nationalism through social studies subjects, where grade IV teachers and school principals as facilitators of research subjects were 31 grade IV students. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the cultivation of nationalism in social studies subjects at SD Negeri Pasiraman Kidul is found in learning activities through habituation, exemplary or modeling activities, providing contextual examples, and through various teaching media. In addition, it was found that there were supporting and inhibiting factors. The supporting factor is in the form of adequate infrastructure facilities so that it is easier to cultivate the attitude of Nationalism, especially supported by the use of learning media
