This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in grade IV of SDN 10 Sapiran, Bukittinggi City. This study aims to describe the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes in Science Learning Using the Discovery Learning Model in Grade IV of SDN 10 Sapiran, Bukittinggi City. This research is a Classroom Action Research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. It is carried out in two cycles, each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 students in grade IV of SDN 10 Sapiran, Bukittinggi City. The results of the study showed: The average assessment of the Teaching Module in cycle I was 83.32% (B), increasing in cycle II to 94.44% (SB). Assessment of teacher activity in cycle I was 82.81% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.87% (SB). Assessment of student activity in cycle I was 79.68% (C), increasing in cycle II to 93.75% (SB). The average assessment of student learning outcomes in the attitude aspect in cycle I was 80.16 (B), the knowledge aspect was 73.33 (C) and the skills aspect was 70.26 (C), increasing in cycle II the attitude aspect obtained an average of 81.86 (B), the knowledge aspect was 82 (B) and the skills aspect was 81.13 (B). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in science learning in class IV SDN 10 Sapiran, Bukittinggi City.
