The main problem in this study is the low Indonesian speaking skills of students, which is caused by the lack of student activity in learning, teaching methods that are not varied, and minimal student interaction in the Indonesian learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the Giving Question and Getting Answer (GQGA) learning model on Indonesian speaking skills in grade III students of SDN 95 Abbekae, Maros Regency. This type of research is quantitative research, Pre- Experimental Design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 35 people. The results showed that the average pretest score was 58.29 and increased to 78.29 in the posttest. The results of the inferential analysis using the paired sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that the GQGA learning model has a significant effect on improving students' speaking skills. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Giving Question and Getting Answer model can improve the Indonesian language speaking skills of grade III students of SDN 95 Abbekae
