<![CDATA[This classroom action research aims to improve second-grade students’ conceptual understanding of money value at SD Negeri 065853 Medan through the use of the "Bolon Cafe" learning media. The study was conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. “Bolon Cafe” is a culturally-based concrete media inspired by Batak Toba traditional food, incorporating role-play and money simulation activities. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. The average test scores increased from 56.68 in the pre-cycle to 67.04 in the first cycle post-test, and to 80 in the second cycle. The mastery percentage rose from 36% to 80%. The application of this media not only enhanced students’ cognitive understanding of the concept of money but also promoted active engagement, collaboration, and improved affective and psychomotor domains. Thus, "Bolon Cafe" has proven to be an effective and contextually relevant instructional tool in Indonesian language learning at the elementary level.]]>
