This research is based on the activity and learning outcomes of students who are still low at SD Negeri Karangtengah 01 in the subject of IPAS. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the use of the Discovery Learning learning model. This study uses classroom action research consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and testing, and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation techniques and test techniques. The research subjects numbered 25 people with a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique, namely looking for a percent to find out the minimum completeness. This research was held at SD Negeri Naikoten I with the results of the study showing that cycle 1 out of 25 subjects who completed (18 people with 72% completeness), while those who did not complete in cycle I were (7 people with 28% completeness). Furthermore, in the second cycle, all students, namely (25 out of 25 students completed with 100% completeness). Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that learning about the uniqueness and habits of the people around me using the Discovery Learning learning model can improve learning outcomes.
