This study stems from the importance of curriculum development in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT) that harmonizes academic achievement with Islamic values to shape intellectually capable and morally grounded students. The main objective of this research is to explore and analyze the curriculum development approach implemented at SDS Islam Al Hidayah and assess its impact on learning quality and students' competency achievement. A qualitative case study approach was used, involving interviews, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis. The findings reveal that SDS Islam Al Hidayah adopts a collaborative model by combining top-down and bottom-up approaches, emphasizing competency-based curriculum and Project-Based Learning (PBL). Despite challenges such as limited resources and differing expectations between schools and parents, the implemented strategies have positively influenced students’ practical skills, learning motivation, character building, and life skills. The curriculum not only aligns with national education standards but also maintains the school’s Islamic identity. This study recommends strengthening stakeholder collaboration and improving resource availability to support a more effective and contextually relevant curriculum.
