This study aims to analyze the management of basic education at SDN 01 Lembah Melintang, focusing on the implementation of curriculum policies and the challenges faced during its implementation. Although basic education policies in Indonesia have undergone various improvements, their implementation at the school level is still hindered by limitations in budget, facilities, and teacher competency. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with the school principal, teachers, and school committee members, as well as direct observation of curriculum management. The findings show that despite efforts to implement the policy, challenges such as insufficient teacher training, limited facilities, and suboptimal budget management hinder the achievement of better educational outcomes. This study offers recommendations for improvements in continuous teacher training, more flexible budget management, and enhanced educational facilities.
