This study aims to determine the effect of gender on the creative thinking ability of high school science students in the city of Mataram. The sample in this study were class XI students, as many as 32 students consisting of 15 male students and 17 female students. The instrument used to measure students' creative thinking skills is in the form of multiple-choice questions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence between gender on the ability to think creatively. The effect of gender on students' creative thinking abilities in Chemistry subjects is quite high. Female students can think creatively better than male students.
