Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture berbantuan Media Flashcard terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IV SDN Gugus III Kecamatan Gunung Sari Tahun 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN Gugus III Kecamatan Gunung Sari yang terdiri dari 5 Sekolah Dasar yaitu SDN 1 Midang, SDN 2 Midang, SDN 3 Midang, SDN 1 Kekeri, SDN 2 Kekeri. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu SDN 1 Midang kelas IV sebagai kelas kontrol dan SDN 1 Kekeri kelas IV sebagai kelas eksperimen. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan-pertimbangan tertentu yang telah di tetapkan oleh peneliti. Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan menggunakan uji t sampel independent (t-test polled varians). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata perolehan nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 74,434 sedangkan kelas kontrol 55,903. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh hasil thitung> ttabel yaitu 5,434 > 2,008 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H o di tolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture Berbantuan Media Flashcard terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IV SDN Gugus III Kecamatan Gunung Sari Tahun 2017/2018.

Abstract

This thesis entitled “An Analysis of Students’ Difficulties in Writing Recount Text: A Case Study at the Eleventh Grade Student of MA Putra Al-Ishlahuiddiny Kediri Academic Year 2016/2017”. It was aimed to know students’ difficulties and the factors contributing to those difficulties in writing recount text. There were 36 out of 135 students who were taken by using purposive sampling as samples (XI IPA 2). In data collection, three kinds of instruments were used: test, questionnaire and interview. The test was used to know students’ difficulties in writing recount text. The questionnaire was divided into open and close ended questions to obtain information about the factors contributing to the students’ difficulties in writing recount text. The Interview was used as an additional input to complete the data. This study used quantitative and qualitative descriptive method to analyze the data. From the analysis it was found that students were generally categorized as mean score with the percentage is (50.69%) by seeing students’ difficulties in content, organization, vocabulary and sentence structure in term of the test conducted. In terms of the questionnaires, the result showed that the most dominant difficulties were the making of past tense sentences and distinguishing regular from irregular verbs with percentage (81%). Whereas the interview result found that most of students did not understand how to write a recount text and how to use proper words and that they had lack of vocabulary

Abstract

Minimnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak merupakan salah satu masalah dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Dukungan orang tua pada saat anak belajar dapat mendukung prestasi belajar anak di sekolah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik korelasional Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian adalah data dukungan orang tua dalam belajar anak, dan diperoleh melalui metode angket (kuesioner). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu ada hubungan positif antara dukungan orangtua dengan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pencapaian hasil belajar siswa di SDN 28 Ampenan pada mata pelajaran PKn masih berada di bawah KKM yaitu 75 dengan nilai rata-rata 62,5 dan ketuntasan klasikalnya mencapai 42,5%. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya inovasi guru dalam mengembagkan model pembelajaran dan kurang melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Dari latar belakang tersebut maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe Role Playing untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 28 Ampenan tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi serta refleksi, yang melibatkan 40 orang siswa kelas IV sebagai subyek dengan 1 orang guru sebagai observer yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Data aktivitas siswa dan guru diperoleh dari melalui lembar observasi, sedangkan hasil belajar diperoleh dari tes evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa 69,875 degan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal mencapai 65%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 79,75 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal mencapai 87.5%. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas IV SDN 28 Ampenan tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: (a) Find out the students level of English at The International Relation Study Program. (b) Find out the needs of English perceived by the students at The International Relation Study Program. (c) Find out The needs of English perceived by English lecturer and subject specialist at The International Relation Study Program. (d). Make recommendations for teaching English at non-English Study Program at The International Relation Study Program. The method used in this study is descriptive method. This research is conducted at The International Relation Study Program, The University of Mataram and determined by purposive sampling. The unit analysis in this study is the students with a total of 43 and the lecturers with a total of 2. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded as follows: (a) The initial level ability of students that have been measured using the ECSCS Placement Test is known that the initial ability of students are in Pre-Intermediate level with an average score of 73.06. (b) The need of English is perceived by the students at The International Relation Study Program is to improve the English language skills in terms of speaking actively. (c) The need of English is perceived from the institution, English lecturer and subject specialist can be divided into two categories: short-term goals to prepare the students to be a student and long-term goals to find a job. (d) Based on the results according to the circumstances of students and learning at The International Relation Study Program, then it can be recommended that four courses design with materials and teaching techniques appropriate to the conditions and needs of the students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai TOEFL sesi Reading dari mahasiswa senior, mengetahui korelasi TOEFL sesi Reading dengan matakuliah Reading dan kontribusi mata kuliah Reading pada TOEFL sesi Reading. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes TOEFL sesi Reading dan laporan akademik mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Reading. Analisis data menggunakan rumus Product Moment oleh Pearson dan aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) versi 21. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai TOEFL sesi Reading dari mahasiswa Bahasa Inggri sadalah antara 320-520 dengan nilai rata-rata 450. Kemudian, hasil menunjukkan adanya korelasi antara nilai TOEFL sesi Reading dan mata kuliah Reading mahasiswa senior Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan tahun akademik 2015/2016, kecuali untuk mata kuliah Extensive Reading 2. Koefisien korelasi antara Reading 1 dan TOEFL sesi Reading adalah 0.437, antara Reading 2 dan TOEFLsesi Reading adalah 0.366, antara Reading 3 dan TOEFL Reading adalah 0.480, antara Extensive Reading 1 dan TOEFL sesi Reading adalah 0.515 dan antara Extensive Reading 2 dan TOEFL sesiReading di bawah 0.00, yaitu -0.17. Untuk korelasi keseluruhan mata kuliah Reading dan TOEFL sesi Reading, korelasi koefisiennya adalah 0.645. Mata kuliah Reading pada jurusan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mataram berkontribusi pada TOEFL sesi Reading, kecuali mata kuliah Extensive Reading 2. Reading 1 berkontribusi sebesar 19.1%, Reading 2 berkontribusi sebesar 13.4%, Reading 3 berkontribusi sebesar 23.1%, Extensive Reading 1 berkontribusi sebesar13.4%, dan Extensive Reading 2 tidak memiliki kontribusi pada TOEFL sesiReading. Keseluruhan mata kuliah Reading berkontribusi sebesar 41.6% pada TOEFL Reading.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the sociology learning outcomes of class X Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Salaka students, Takalar Regency through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. This type of research is a Class Action Research consisting of two cycles with 4 stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection which is done repeatedly. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Salaka, Takalar Regency. The subjects of the study were class X students with 21 students, consisting of 10 male students and 11 female students. The results showed that an increase in student sociology learning outcomes in the first cycle the average value from 71.43 to 77.86 in the second cycle. In addition, this learning model can increase student attendance, student attention, student activity, and reduce students who carry out negative activities during the learning process.

Abstract

Students need visualization media in bridging abstract concepts of geometry into contextual understanding. For example, is the virtual reality mathematics application for android (VR math) for teaching geometry. It’s supported by a media called google cardboard, as an output device in applying VR technology. This study aim is to improve students' spatial ability. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Where each cycle consists of 4 stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 24 students of 7th grade at SMPN 4 Taliwang. Data sources obtained from the learning process observation and tests. The instruments used were observation sheets and tests. After the data are collected, analyzed then concluded descriptively. The results of the study are the achievement of score from the first cycle to the second is 79 (adequate category) to 89.5 (good category). It showed that the score progress has reached the performance indicator. For students' spatial ability, in the pre-cycle included in lack category (34 scores). After given action study, it reached to score 56 (adequate category) in the first cycle to 66,4 (good category) in the second cycle. It's mean the achievement had reached the performance indicator. The research concludes that the Android VR application is effective for learning mathematics, especially in spatial ability. Research recommendations are mathematics teachers should master ICT so that it can be integrated into learning to create interesting, fun, and challenging mathematics learning.

Abstract

The application of social distancing by the government has a significant impact on learning activities in tertiary institutions. Colleges divert class meetings with online meetings in networking and home assignments. This study aims to describe the variation of models and platforms used in online learning for prospective teachers during the social distancing period. This research was conducted through a survey and focus group discussion (FGD) conducted online to obtain information about the implementation of learning, applications used, constraints during learning, how to deliver material, and the number of meetings held weekly. Survey data and FGDs obtained were analyzed descriptively. The survey results show that all lecturers carry out online learning during the COVID-19 prevention period. Most lecturers organize learning and discussion through social media applications such as WhatsApp. Submission of material is mostly done by sharing files through WhatsApp messages and other social media. The most common obstacle that arises during the implementation of online learning is the limited internet access by lecturers and student teacher candidates. Learning is carried out in both categories with an average number of online meetings twice a week according to the credits of each lecture.

Abstract

Corona virus (Covid-19), which is a new type that is transmitted to humans, attacks disorders of the respiratory system, leading to death. Apart from these health problems, an issue that is no less important is the issue of education. Problems in the world of education due to the dismissal of educational institutions. This research was conducted using qualitative research. The results of the study concluded that with regard to children's education, it is very clear from the results of this study that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the education sector in Mataram City.
