ABSTRACT Carbon Monoxide (CO) is one of the contributor of air pollution which can come from industrial sector and transportation caused by incomplete combustion. The entry of contaminants into the river body can affect the condition of existing organisms in these waters, including damage to the organs in the fish, changing the structure of fish populations, until the death of fish. This study aims to determine the toxicity of carbon monoxide (CO) gas to mortality of guppy fish (Poecilia reticulata) with different time. This type of research is an experimental research using a complete randomized design (RAL). Giving of CO gas based on time duration includes control, 2 minutes, 4 minutes and 6 minutes. Treatment was repeated 3 times and observed for 3 days. Object used in this research is guppy (Poecilia reticulata) sex of male counted 120 tails. The results showed that CO gases could affect mortality of guppy fish, where only fish in control were able to live until the third day, whereas for fish treated with CO exposure for 2 minutes, 4 minutes and 6 minutes all experienced death. The result of analysis of single anava obtained F value of calculation of treatment (0,2647472)
