<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the field trip method on poetry writing skills among fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 02 Tarowang, Jeneponto Regency. This is a quantitative study designed using a pre-experimental design, namely a one-group pretest-posttest. The population in this study was all fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 02 Tarowang, with a sample size of 25 students. The research instrument used for data collection was a test (pretest-posttest). Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study conducted on fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 02 Tarowang, Jeneponto Regency, it can be concluded that the use of the field trip learning method had a significant impact on students' poetry writing skills. Before the treatment, students' average pretest score was only 59.2, which is in the low category. After implementing the field trip method, the average posttest score increased to 89.68, which is in the high to very high category.]]>
