Abstract

This research is an experimental research with pre-experiment method, this research design is the one group pretest posttest. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in identifying information and summarizing explanatory text. The samples in this study were VIII grade students. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding the comparison of statistical values, the comparison of learning outcomes categories and the comparison of the level of completeness proves that the improvement of student learning outcomes can be seen from the data on student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model, the average student score is still below the KKM value, namely 49.57 and after using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model, the average student score increases above the KKM, namely 84.21. It is known that the posttest value is 84.21 more than the Pretest value which is 49.57. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the t_ (count) obtained is 4.371 with the frequency df = 14 -1 = 13, at a significant level of 0.05 or 5% the t_table is 1.770. So t_ (count) > t_table or H_0 rejected H_1 accepted. These results can be concluded that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This means that the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model is effective in learning to identify information and summarize explanatory texts in class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Makassar.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan angket. Sampel dan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bontomanai Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil rata-rata sebelum dilakukan perlakuan, diketahui hasil angket literasi siswa yaitu 38,22 dan angket minat baca siswa yaitu 35,61 sedangkan setelah dilakukan treatment, maka diketahui hasil angket literasi siswa yaitu 61,96 dan angket minat baca siswa yaitu 65,61. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis melalui uji-t dengan menggunakan uji Paired samples T-Test dapat dikatakan berpengaruh apabila nilai (2. Tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05. Setelah dilakukan uji Paired samples T-Test menujukkan bahwa nilai thitung variabel literasi = -14,684 dan nilai sig.(2- tailed) = 0,000 dengan  taraf  signifikansi α = 0,05. Dengan ttabel dilihat pada tabel statistik dengan signifikansi 0,05 : 2 = 0,025 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 23-1 = 22, hasil diperoleh untuk ttabel = 2,073. Sedangkan nilai thitung variabel minat baca = -12, 304 dan nilai sig.(2- tailed) = 0,000 dengan  taraf  signifikansi α = 0,05. Dengan ttabel dilihat pada tabel statistik dengan signifikansi 0,05 : 2 = 0,025 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 23-1 = 22, hasil diperoleh untuk ttabel = 2,073. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kegiatan literasi dasar terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V SD Inpres Bontomanai Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah penggunaaan media animasi audio visual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak pada siswa kelas IV C SDN Minasa Upa Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kualitas keterampilan  menyimak cerita anak melalui media animasi audio visual pada siswa kelas IV C SDN Minasa Upa Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindak kelas (Class Action Reaserch) yang terdiri dari dua siklus yang dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dengan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV C SDN Minasa Upa Makassar sebanyak 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil tes siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 71,4 dan berada pada kategori cukup. Nilai tersebut sudah memenuhi target yang ditetapkan yaitu 70. Pada siklus ini siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13,3 poin dari nilai pratindakan.  Sedangkan pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata mencapai 83,9 yang berarti ada peningkatan dari siklus I sebesar 12,5 poin. Nilai rata-rata tersebut berada pada kategori baik. Peningkatan keterampilan menyimak cerita anak dari pratindakan ke siklus II sebesar 25,8 poin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menyimak melalui media animasi audio visual pada siswa kelas IV C SDN Minasa Upa Makassar mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the learning community (Kombel) at the junior high school level in Soppeng Regency, its use in improving the competence of Indonesian teachers, and the factors that affect the utilization. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed holistically to reveal the implementation and impact of Kombel on improving teacher professionalism. The results of the study show that the implementation of Kombel at the junior high school level in Soppeng Regency has run optimally in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. The use of Kombel has proven to be effective in improving the pedagogic competence of Indonesian teachers, especially in the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. In addition, Kombel is a collaborative medium that supports the exchange of good practices between teachers, helps solve student learning problems, and supports the selection of relevant strategies, approaches, and methods. The factors that affect the use of Kombel include: teacher commitment and motivation, time management, availability of facilities, openness, and support from various parties. These findings affirm the importance of strengthening the learning community as a strategy to improve the quality of teacher competence in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang peneliti lakukan di UPT SD Inpres Mangasa I, peneliti menemukan masih ada kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca dan huruf kapital pada karangan narasi yang di tulis oleh siswa kelas IV UPT SD Inpres Mangasa I. Pada penelitian ini rumusan masalahnya yaitu: Apa saja kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia khususnya pada penggunaan tanda baca dan huruf kapital pada karangan narasi siswa kelas IV UPT SD Inpres Mangasa I. Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari dan mengidentifikasi kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia khususnya pada penggunaan tanda baca dan huruf kapital pada karangan narasi siswa kelas IV UPT SD Inpres Mangasa I. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan subjek penelitian ini adalah karangan narasi yang ditulis siswa kelas IV UPT SD Inpres Mangasa I dengan jumlah 14 karangan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan simak-catat. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah masih banyaknya siswa yang salah dalam penggunaan tanda baca dan huruf kapital. Dapat dilihat pada taraf kesalahan pada penggunaan tanda baca titik 74%, tanda baca koma 26%. Dan pada taraf kesulitan pada penggunaan huruf kapital berjumlah 100%. maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas IV UPT SD Inpres Mangasa belum menguasi terhadap penggunaan tanda baca dan huruf kapital pada karangan

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the types of locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts in selling local skincare products on the Instagram account @msglowbeauty. The data source used in this research is speech using language forms, namely phrases or sentences contained in the comments column on the Instagram account @msglowbeauty. The results of this study show that there are three types of locutionary utterances analyzed, namely (1) statement locution (declarative), (2) question locution (interrogative), and (3) command locution (imperative). There are five numbers of illocutionary utterances analyzed, namely (1) assertive or representative illocutionary, (2) directive illocutionary, (3) commissive illocutionary utterance, (4) expressive illocutionary, and (5) declarative illocutionary. Meanwhile, there are three types of perlocutionary utterances analyzed, namely (1) verbal perlocution, (2) nonverbal perlocution, and (3) nonverbal verbal perlocution. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the sale of local skincare products on the Instagram account @msglowbeauty is the ability to express the use of language forms, phrases or sentences firmly by the speaker to the speech partner to carry out an action according to the content of the speech.

Abstract

The platform-based learning media blooket was developed to assist the teaching and learning process in order to improve the understanding of descriptive text material for class VII of SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. The objectives of this study were (1) to develop a prototype of platform-based learning media blooket on descriptive text for class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba, (2) to analyze the validity of the development of platform-based learning media blooket, (3) to analyze the practicality of platform-based learning media blooket, (4) to analyze the effectiveness of using platform- based learning media blooket on descriptive text for class VII at SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. The method used in this research and development was the Research and Development (R&D) method by adopting the ADDIE development model and approach developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The instruments used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. Product validation was carried out by material experts and media experts and product trials were carried out on class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. The results of this development research proved that the blooket platform-based learning media was feasible to use based on the validation results from material experts with a score of 0.85 and media experts with a score of 0.82, which means a high validity value using the validity test using Aiken's. The results of student responses were 97%, greater than 84%, also indicate that the blooket platform-based learning media is practical to use in the learning process in the classroom. The blooket platform-based learning media was also effectively applied in the learning process as seen from the very significant influence on student learning outcomes where the results of the pretest and posttest of students show that student scores increased by 7.89 points or 10.62%.

Abstract

The main problem raised in this study is how to use artificial intelligence (AI) in Indonesian learning by teachers at MTs Negeri 1 Jeneponto?. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Indonesian learning by teachers at MTs Negeri 1 Jeneponto. The type of research used is qualitative research designed using qualitative descriptive methods. This qualitative descriptive method is used to describe a phenomenon about the use of AI in Indonesian language learning with data collection techniques, namely direct interviews, direct observations, and documentation. The data that has been collected is analyzed with steps, namely reducing the data that has been collected, then drawing conclusions and interpretation, and triangulating to ensure that the data that has been analyzed and interpreted is in accordance with the needs of the research. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of AI has been actively implemented by teachers, especially through platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, and Google Classroom. Teachers use AI in various aspects of learning, ranging from the preparation of teaching modules, the creation of evaluation questions, to digital classroom management. This utilization has been proven to provide significant benefits, such as efficiency of working time, increased teacher creativity, ease of access to learning resources, and increased student participation and interest in learning. The students' response to the use of AI was also quite positive, as seen from their enthusiasm during the learning process.

Abstract

The main issue in this study is how to improve expository writing skills through the Problem- Based Learning (PBL) model in grade V at SDN 99 Kampung Beru, Galesong District, Takalar Regency. This study aims to describe the results of improving students' expository writing skills through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in grade V at SDN 99 Kampung Beru, Galesong District, Takalar Regency. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted at SDN 99 Kampung Beru. The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of three meetings. The data collection instruments in this research were test sheets containing essay questions administered at the end of each cycle meeting and observation sheets. Based on the research results, in Cycle I, it was found that students with incomplete scores had an average score of 54.54 in the low category, with 6 students. There were also 5 students who achieved completion with an average score of 45.45 in the high category. In Cycle II, the success of the intervention had improved. There were 5 students with an average of 45.45 in the very high category and 5 students with an average of 45.45 in the high category. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that 10 students achieved passing grades. One student did not achieve a passing grade, with an average score of 9.1.
