Toner wajah berperan dalam mencegah penumpukan sebum dan residu yang memicu jerawat. Ekstrak etanol daun alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) mengandung senyawa aktif seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin/polifenolat, kuinon, serta monoterpenoid/seskuiterpenoid yang bersifat antibakteri terhadap Propionibacterium acnes. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui formula terbaik dan pengaruh variasi konsentrasi polisorbat 20 terhadap stabilitas sediaan toner. Tiga formula dibuat dengan konsentrasi polisorbat 20 sebesar 5%, 6,5%, dan 7,5%, lalu diuji stabilitasnya melalui cycling test selama 12 hari (6 siklus) dengan evaluasi organoleptis, homogenitas, viskositas, pH, dan volume terpindahkan. Seluruh formula menunjukkan stabilitas yang baik. Uji statistik menunjukkan p-value >0,05 pada pengujian pH (FI, FII, FIII: 0,0136; 0,0137; 0,0136) dan viskositas (0,5874; 0,9179; 0,0937), menandakan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antar siklus. Formula I (5% Polisorbat 20) dinilai paling baik dari segi kestabilan viskositas dan kenyamanan penggunaan. Variasi konsentrasi Polisorbat 20 tidak memengaruhi organoleptis, homogenitas, dan pH, namun berpengaruh terhadap viskositas. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dapat diformulasikan sebagai toner alami untuk kulit berjerawat. Ethanolic extract of avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill.) contains active compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins/polyphenols, quinones, and monoterpenoids/sesquiterpenoids with antibacterial properties against Propionibacterium acnes. This study aimed to determine the best formulation and the effect of varying concentrations of polysorbate 20 on toner stability. Three formulations were prepared with polysorbate 20 concentrations of 5%, 6.5%, and 7.5%, and their stability was evaluated using a 12-day cycling test (6 cycles), including organoleptic assessment, homogeneity, viscosity, pH, and volume transfer. All formulations demonstrated good stability. Statistical analysis showed p-values >0.05 for pH (F1, F2, F3: 0.0136; 0.0137; 0.0136) and viscosity (0.5874; 0.9179; 0.0937), indicating no significant differences between cycles. Formula I (5% polysorbate 20) was considered the most stable in terms of viscosity and user comfort. The variation in polysorbate 20 concentration did not affect organoleptic properties, homogeneity, or pH, but influenced viscosity. These results indicate that ethanolic extract of avocado leaves can be formulated as a natural toner for acne-prone skin
