This article discusses the role of pastoral guidance and counseling in shaping the character of theology students at IAKN Toraja, focusing on its impact on integrity, maturity of faith, and moral responsibility. This study uses a qualitative field study method through observation and in-depth interviews with students and pastoral counselors. The results of the study indicate that pastoral counseling based on empathy and Christian values has a positive impact in helping students overcome emotional, spiritual, and social challenges. This counseling process not only helps students overcome personal problems, but also deepens their understanding of their calling in life and strengthens their character in the context of service. Thus, pastoral counseling plays a strategic role in shaping students' personalities who are mature, have integrity, and are ready to serve with strong maturity of faith.
