Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of each component in the STEAM extracurricular activities for children aged 5-6 years at TK Karya Yosef Pontianak Kota. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data source for this study was one STEAM extracurricular mentor at TK Karya Yosef Pontianak Kota. Data collection tools included observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that: (1) The science component is implemented through various activities, such as introducing concepts, conducting experiments, observing, identifying problems, communicating, and drawing conclusions. (2) The use of technology is adapted to the activities and abilities of the children. At the initial stage, the technology used is simpler and safer. (3) The engineering process is consistently applied in every STEAM extracurricular activity, where children actively participate in project creation and engage in analyzing and solving problems. (4) The art component is implemented using simple materials, such as food coloring, paint, and origami paper. (5) The mathematics component is carried out through activities such as counting and measuring.

Abstract

The aim of this rsearch. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of pop up book media on the learning outcomes of science and science, plant parts and their functions in grade IV of SD Inpres 24 Regency. This study is a pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-postest research design. The sample used was all grade IV students totaling 19 student. The data collection technique used is a test (pretest-posttest). The data analysis technique consists of 3 stages, namely the descriptive stage, normality test, and hypothesis test. The results of the prettest instrument item reality test were obtained 0.902 and the posttest was obtained 0.981. From the data analysis, descriptive pretest data with a mean value of 54.68 while posttest with a mean value of 74.37.From data analysis, the normality test of asymp.sig was obtained, the pretest data was 0.068 > 0.05, while the posttest was 0.073 > 0.05 from this data showed that it was normally distributed. The results of the T-test were obtained. 001 where the significant value obtained was < 0.05 which means that Ha in this study was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of pop up book media on the learning outcomes of science and science materials Plant Parts and their functions in grade IV students of SD Inpres 24 Sorong Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning problems faced at Citra Bakti Elementary School, especially in the implementation of learning media and adaptation to the curriculum used. Citra Bakti elementary school has utilized learning media such as canva and quizziz crated by teachers as an effort to increase student interaction and involoment. However,the results of observations and interviewsshowed that the use of this media has not bee optimal due to various obstacles, such as limitide time, varying understanding of technology among students, in addition, teachers face challenges in implementing the independent learning curriculum, especially in implementing project-based learning methods and contextual approaches that are in accordance with the level of student understanding, there are limited facilities and infrastructure and training for teacher in learning effevtiveness, thus the implementation of the independent curriculum at Citra Bakti Elementary School can be optimized and learning objectives can be achieved effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of non-differentiated learning in Christian religious education at SDN 1 Sabaru Palangka Raya. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was used. The results show that the implementation of non-differentiated learning is effective in improving student learning outcomes and building Christian character. Factors that influence the implementation are teacher competence, infrastructure and parental support.

Abstract

This research aims to improve children's listening skills using the storytelling method using flannel board media for children in Group A SPS Mekar Kary IV Babakan Baru, Ciracap District, Sukabumi Regency. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were children from Group A SPS Mekar Kary IV Babakan Baru. The object of research is listening ability. The method used in collecting data is observation and documentation taken during the learning process. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative descriptive. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle lasting 2 meetings. The results of the research show that the listening ability of Group A SPS Mekar Kary IV Babakan Baru children can be improved. The results of pre-action observations showed that there were no children who had the criteria for developing very well or who got a percentage of 76-100%. After the actions in Cycle I, the average ability of children increased to 66% with the criteria of developing according to expectations (BSH), and in Cycle II the average ability of children increased to 82.5% with the criteria of developing very well (BSB).

Abstract

This journal aims to obtain complete and in-depth information about Classroom Management in Student Learning Objectives at SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu in the 2023-2024 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this study use interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use triangulation and member check. The results of the study show that: (1) Teachers in classroom management to achieve learning objectives, namely teachers create an orderly atmosphere and regulate behavior, including making a picket schedule, and teachers reprimand students who violate school rules (2) The form of management to discipline students is the teacher using U formation, groups and traditional formations during the learning process

Abstract

This study is motivated by the existence of inequality in the learning outcomes of Al- Quran Hadith between students who graduated from MTs and SMP. Students who graduate from MTs generally get more intensive religious education compared to junior high school graduates, so it is assumed that they will have better learning outcomes. However, preliminary data shows that the value of learning outcomes does not always match this assumption. This study aims to determine how the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith subjects compare between Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students who graduated from Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and Junior High School (SMP) at Darussalam Sumani Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a quantitative approach with statistical data analysis techniques. The population in this study were all grade X students of MA Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sumani. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith between students who graduated from MTs and junior high schools. With the acquisition of sig value. (2 - tailed) is 0.010 with a 5% research alpha of 0.05. meaning that the sig value is smaller than the alpha value, namely 0.010 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected andHa is accepted. Students who graduated from MTs tend to have better learning outcomes than students who graduated from junior high schools, although there are some junior high school graduates who show satisfactory learning outcomes. Factors that influence the difference in learning outcomes include previous religious education background, internal factors, and external factors. This research provides important implications for education managers in Islamic boarding schools in designing learning programmes that are more effective and adaptive to the needs of students with different educational backgrounds.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the extent of the role of Koran teachers towards children in Bonan Dolok village in situations of community service. This research involved various individuals from various communities who were involved in this KKN service effort. The role of a Koran teacher is the same as a teacher at school, except that Koran teachers have a certain schedule which is held based on agreement with parents, which is different from public schools where there is a special schedule. The method used in this research is the Participation Action Research method. The results of this service research show that Koran teachers have a very important role for children, because the presence of Koran teachers can improve children's ability to read the Koran, increase religious and moral development in children, and also increase children's understanding of the Islamic religion. From the data analysis activities carried out there are several things that hinder and implement this Koran teacher. This research also suggests that there should be further steps taken by the community to provide recitation for children.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of open modules in improving students' learning motivation at SMKS Kristen Palangka Raya. The focus of the study is directed at how teaching modules designed according to students' needs can influence aspects of learning motivation, such as interest, involvement, and perseverance. The teaching modules used are contextual, with content that is relevant to students' daily lives. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 3 students and 1 teacher, classroom observations during the implementation of the open module, and document analysis in the form of student assignment results. The results of the interviews and observations are explained using thematic analysis techniques. As a complement, an assessment table is prepared to reflect indicators of learning motivation, such as the frequency of student participation in discussions, enthusiasm for completing assignments, and responses to learning challenges. The results of the study show that teaching modules have a positive impact on students' learning motivation. This is indicated by increased active participation of students during learning, increased confidence in answering questions, and enthusiasm for completing the assigned tasks. Teachers expressed that teaching modules helped them create more focused and enjoyable learning. Students also felt that the material in the open module was easier to understand and relevant to their lives. In conclusion, open modules play a significant role in increasing students' learning motivation at SMKS Kristen Palangka Raya. This study recommends the development of more inclusive and creative teaching modules to support various learning styles of students.

Abstract

This journal discusses in depth the competence of teachers at MTs Al-Ijtihadiyah Martebing, with a special focus on how teachers understand and convey lesson material effectively, choose appropriate learning methods, and manage the class well. This research was conducted using interview and observation methods, which aimed to analyze the teaching practices implemented by teachers, as well as the efforts they made to improve their professional competence. The research results show that good communication skills, the use of interactive learning methods, and the implementation of appropriate evaluations are very important in creating a conducive and supportive learning environment for students. With the right approach, teachers can not only improve students' understanding, but also encourage their active participation in the learning process.
