<![CDATA[Abstract This study is purposed to know al-Farabi's reasonable thinking about education in the context of modern world nowadays. This study uses a qualitative approach by library research method, namely looking for data sources from texts, books, journals related to the theme of this research. The results of this research are: 1. Knowing al-Farabi's biography, work, and Al Farabi's reasonable thingking about education which includes: a) the concept of Islamic education, b) curriculum models, c) educators and students, and d) learning methods. 2. Al-Farabi's reasonable thingking about education in the context of the modern world is still relevant to Alfarabi's education concept, his scientific classification, and also the applied learning methods that can still be used in the context of modern world nowadays.]]>
