Abstract

Abstract The research background is based on the anxiety of researchers about bad morals that are still often occur around us. This is due to the lack of motivation regarding the formation of good morals.To grow one's awareness, of course, there needs to be a revamping process that is done early on. In this case, Pondok Pesantren Bustanu Usysyaqil Qur'an implements various practices, one of which is in the form of Qur'anic riyadah which is done every day for 41 consecutive days by fasting and matching the Qur'an. The study aims to know about the motivation of santri in carrying out the Qur'anic riyadah 41 days and how it has implications for their daily morals. This research is a qualitative study with the background of Pondok Pesantren Bustanu Usysyaqil Qur'an Gading, Duren, Tengaran, Semarang Regency. The subjects were the caretaker of Pondok Pesantren and santri riyadah Qur'an. Data collection is from observations, interviews, and documentation. In the data validity test, the author uses data triangulation by comparing information obtained from several different sources and different techniques. Then data analysis is done using miles and huberman models, data reduction, data supply, and inference conclusions.The results showed that: (1) Santri motivation in carrying out the Qur'anic riyadah 41 days varies but is generally grouped into two, namely motivation that comes from a person (internal) and motivation that comes due to external stimulation, namely encouragement from Nyai, parents, and alumni.(2) The motivational implication of santri's daily morals is to make his heart trained to be patient, tawadu', istiqomah, discipline, qana'ah and as form of birrul walidain.The implications felt by santri in this case vary depending on each individual in interpreting the Qur'anic riyadah, but in general riyadah Qur'an 41 days has a power impact in memorizing and forming good morals (Akhlaqul karimah) because riyadah basically includes about moral education and treatment of bad morals.

Abstract

Abstract This study is purposed to know al-Farabi's reasonable thinking about education in the context of modern world nowadays. This study uses a qualitative approach by library research method, namely looking for data sources from texts, books, journals related to the theme of this research. The results of this research are: 1. Knowing al-Farabi's biography, work, and Al Farabi's reasonable thingking about education which includes: a) the concept of Islamic education, b) curriculum models, c) educators and students, and d) learning methods. 2. Al-Farabi's reasonable thingking about education in the context of the modern world is still relevant to Alfarabi's education concept, his scientific classification, and also the applied learning methods that can still be used in the context of modern world nowadays.

Abstract

Abstrak Al-Qur’an adalah kalamullah yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW melalui perantara malaikat Jibril dan membacanya bernilai ibadah. Kandungan isi Al-Qur’an mencakup berbagai hal, tidak hanya tentang moralitas dan spiritualitas, namun juga menjadi sumber ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kajian terhadap Al-Qur’an, terus menarik banyak ilmuan untuk mengkajinya. Kajian tidak hanya pada lafadz dan ma’nya, namun lebih dari itu kajian tentang kemu’jizatannya (i’jazul quran) juga menarik untuk dilakukan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Al-Qur’an dari sisi kemu’jizatannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, dengan mengkaji berbagai literasi jurnal ilmiah, buku, kitab maupun sumber lainnya. Kemu’jizatan Al-Qur’an dapat dilihat dari beberapa segi. Pertama, gaya bahasa Al-Qur’an. Al-Qur’an memiliki gaya bahasa yang khas dan tidak dapat ditiru oleh para ahli sastra sekalipun. Kedua, mu’jizat Al-Qur’an dari segi kandungannya. Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab sebagai petunjuk (hudan), pembeda (furqan), obat (syifa), penjelas (thibyanan), akhlaq, hokum, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dan sebagainya. Dengan demikian, dapat dikemukakan bahwa bukti kemu’jizatan Al-Qur’an diantaranya dapat dikemukakan oleh siapapun yang memiliki obyektifitas bahwa Al-Qur’an memiliki keistimewaan dan keagungan, Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab suci yang paling banyak dibaca oleh umat manusia dan keotentikannya dijaga langsung oleh Allah melalui para penghafal dan pengkaji Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba memaparkan sebuah analisa terhadap penafsiran Surah al-Fiil dengan menggunakan analisis teori semiotika Roland Barthes, penulis mencoba memparkan simbol-simbol yang terdapat pada surah al-Fiil, dengan melihat dari konteks historis yang terdapat pada surah al-Fiil yaitu sebuah kisah tentang penghacuran ka’bah yang dilakukan oleh seorang wakil raja dari wilayah Arab bagian selatan, yaitu kota Yaman. Atau yagn terkenal dengan Ashab al-Fiil. Serta tidak luput juga analisis pada kebahasaan yang terkandung di dalamnya.

Abstract

This article discusses self-knowledge in the perspective of the Qur’an. The Qur’an as the main source of Islam, has clearly discussed human nature as stated in various chapters of the Qur'an. It was found that the concept of self in the Qur'an is understood by paying attention to humans themselves who point to each other, namely basyar, al-ins, al-insan, al-nas, and the bani Adam. Basyar has always been associated with traits that show human physiological significance, such as its origin from clay or dry clay. Also refers to the human aspect that has lust, has a tendency to eat, drink, trade, as well as a tendency to fulfill matters related to relationships (biological). Al-ins or humans called by God are good by nature. Al-insan is always associated with psychological or spiritual humans as creatures who think, give knowledge, and carry out the mandate. Also beings who become (becoming) and continue to move forward towards perfection. The essence of al-nas is that every human being must carry out activities related to society because in essence humans are social beings who need each other, even though they are created with different characteristics. The form of implementation can be done in the surrounding community, such as communicating and interacting with other humans, getting to know each other, helping each other, maintaining friendship, advising each other and so on. The goal is solely because of worship to Allah SWT. While the bani Adam which is also contained in the Qur'an refers to humans, in the sense of Adam's descendants. In other words, all human beings are members of one frame, because all originally came from the same essence.

Abstract

Abstract This article is discussing on takfiris phenomenon that people accuse, insult, and underestimate each other both words and deeds. The phenomenon has become a disaster for Muslims. They consider themselve more superior than others and their goal is to kill their character who have different views with them by doing tahkim. Even though, al-Qur’an forbids such behaviours in the surah al-Hujarat: 11. This research uses Nashr Hamid Abu Zaid’s hermeneutic approch that try to find out original meaning (ma’na) and main message (magza). It can be concluded that takfiris phenomenon have arisen from the beginning of islamic period. The result of this research is that its original meaning surah al-Hujurat: 11 is banning people to underestimate, insult, and hate others both words and deeds. Meanwhile, the main message of the ayat is that as a human, we must respect and not to drop self esteem each other.

Abstract Al-Falah Krui Islamic Boarding School, West Coast is one small example that is the focus of this article. The cottage is also known as Islamic Boarding School which has a complete education. Starting from formal institutions such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsnawiyah (MTs), and Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Informal Madrasah Diniyah Institutions, Tahfidz Al-Qur'an, Islamic Boarding Schools. Of course, with the complexity of education in the Islamic Boarding School, rules and punishments (Ta'zir) are needed as an effort to control and discipline students. Thus, in the focus of this research, the author will study further with a psychological approach entitled Tazir Concept in the Psychology of Islamic Education at Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School, Pesisir Barat Regency. Abstract

Abstract This article attempts to describe Said Nursi's thoughts on tawakkal as a source of happiness in al-Kalimat aṣ-Ṣhaghirah fil-'Aqīdah wal-'Ibādah. This reflection is present because humans as poor and helpless (inferior) creatures need provisions to face the uncertainties life. What humans do and strive for does not always run smoothly, sometimes they meet failure and failure in turn weakens humans. Leaning on others brings nothing but regret and disappointment. Being leaning on a higher (God, superior), although criticized for being the cause of the decline of the times, in fact can be a very strong foundation for those who believe in it. The main question in this paper is "How can tawakkal in Said Nursi's mind be a source of happiness in life?" The results of this reflection indicate that Said Nursi applies the concept of tawakkal not just theorizing and this paper finds that tawakkal invites someone to act qana'ah, and in qana'ah contains submission to the Almighty. The attitude of qana'ah brings gratitude to a subject, and gratitude then brings happiness. That’s the formulation of tawakkal in picking up happiness.

Abstract

Abstract This study found that the relationship between religions affects the direction of orientalism studies. Orientalist research shifts from being historical-skeptic, to being more conceptual-harmonious. This paper focuses on the second study, namely the conceptual-harmonious orientalist, and more specifically examines Jane Dammen McAuliffe (1944). The results are: first: McAuliffe uses the paradigm of Interreligious understanding, namely reading the Koran in terms of awareness of religious diversity. Second, the output of McAuliffe's research found that terms that have similar meanings as "Religioun" (Din, millah, Ibada, Islam, Hanif, and Shari'a) are used not to refer to one particular religion exclusively, the different meanings that exist indicate an inclusive religion. -pluralist. Third and finally, McAullife's recitation of seven verses of the Qur'an (i.e. Al-Baqarah: 62, Ali Imran: 55, Ali Imran: 199, Al-Maidah 66, Al-Maidah 82-83, Al-Qasas 55-52 , and Al-Hadid 27) show that ideally, the Qur'an has great respect for Christians, this is indicated by the many praises given to Christians.

Abstract

Abstrak The rapid development of science and technology has both positive and negative effects on life. Mental and moral damage is one of the negative impacts that occur when humans live without a purpose. Bringing up the noble crimes of drug abuse, juvenile delinquency, etc. These problems make people both the cause and the people responsible for solving them. Whereas conceptually, the issue is closely related to personality issues or in Islam it is called morals. The purpose of this study is to describe and examine Maqomat and Akhwal their relevance in everyday life. This search is a literature search, so that the data source is in the form of library materials such as books, journals, and scientific articles. Usually data collection in this study uses library research methods which are analyzed using data analysis and description methods. The results of this study are maqamat and ahwal in Sufism, of which there are seven maqamat, namely: repentance, wara, zuhud, poverty. , patient , confident and fun. Ahwal is muraqabah, mahabbah, khauf, raja', syauq, tuma'ninah, musyahadah, and of course. The relevance of the concept of Sufism in today's life is that maqomat and ahwal will be guidelines for achieving the right approach to God.
