<![CDATA[In this research, the problem encountered in Arabic language teaching was that students were able to read vocabulary but did not know the spelling of the words. Besides, the students had some difficulties in learning Arabic, especially in listening comprehension. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Spelling Bee game on improving students' listening skills at MTsN 1 Agam. The research methodology used was quantitative. The type of research used was experimental research with a Quasi-Experimental Group Design. The design format used was a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was 61 students consisting of two classes, with a sample of 31 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The results of the hypothesis test in this study were a significance level of 0.05 and the results of Sig > 0.05 (0.127 > 0.05) with a calculated t > t table (2.009 > 1.554). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is no significant effect of using the Spelling Bee game on improving the students' listening skills in the experimental class.]]>
