This study aims to develop problem-solving-based flipbook media and evaluate its effectiveness in improving mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Malang City. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Lee & Owens development model, which consists of five stages: assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects were 26 students of class VE at MIN 1 Malang City. Data collection instruments included expert validation sheets and pretest-posttest questions. The data analysis used percentage feasibility scores from validators and N-gain test to measure learning outcome improvement. Results showed that: (1) the developed flipbook media was declared highly valid and feasible based on three expert validations, with material feasibility at 89%, media feasibility at 96%, and learning feasibility at 98%; (2) the flipbook media was effective in improving student learning outcomes, as evidenced by an increase in average pretest scores from 34.3 to 76.9 on posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.65 (moderate category). Therefore, this problem-solving-based flipbook media is feasible and effective as a mathematics learning medium for fraction material in grade V at MIN 1 Malang City. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media flipbook berbasis problem solving dan mengetahui efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V MIN 1 Kota Malang. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Lee & Owens yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 26 peserta didik kelas VE MIN 1 Kota Malang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi ahli serta soal pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan penilaian persentase kelayakan dari para validator serta uji N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media flipbook berbasis problem solving dinyatakan sangat valid dan layak digunakan berdasarkan validasi tiga ahli, dengan kelayakan ahli materi 89%, ahli media 96%, dan ahli pembelajaran 98%; (2) media flipbook terbukti efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata pretest 34,3 menjadi posttest 76,9, dengan nilai N-Gain 0,65 (kategori sedang). Dengan demikian, media flipbook berbasis problem solving ini layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika materi pecahan di kelas V MIN 1 Kota Malang.
