This research is motivated by the low creative writing skills of students in Indonesian language learning due to the lack of variation in the learning models that have been used. This study aims to determine the effect of the paired storytelling learning model on creative writing skills in grade V students of Istiqomah Islamic Elementary School, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The type of research used is experimental quantitative research. This research was conducted at Istiqomah Islamic Elementary School, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The independent variable in this research is the Paired Storytelling learning model and the dependent variable is the creative writing skills of students. The population in this research is all fifth grade students of Istiqomah Islamic Elementary School, totaling 68 students. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique involving all fifth grade students consisting of Class V A totaling 33 students as the control class and Class V B totaling 35 students as the experimental class. The data collection technique used is a test technique to measure creative writing skills in students. Hypothesis testing uses a t-test with prerequisite tests including normality tests and homogeneity tests. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of the paired storytelling learning model on creative writing skills in fifth grade students of Istiqomah Islamic Elementary School, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. This is with the t-test results, namely with t count greater than t table (5.145>2.000) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the paired storytelling learning model on creative writing skills in class V students of Istiqomah Islamic Elementary School, West Ungaran District, Semarang Regency.
