Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji sistem pendeteksi kebocoran pada pipa air bersih menggunakan sensor Waterflow berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Sistem ini bekerja dengan memantau laju aliran air secara real-time dan mendeteksi kebocoran berdasarkan selisih jumlah pulsa antara dua sensor yang dipasang seri pada jalur pipa. Simulasi kebocoran dilakukan dengan variasi sudut bukaan keran (45°, 60°, dan 90°) serta waktu aliran yang berbeda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi perubahan debit air dengan akurasi yang memadai dan memberikan peringatan melalui indikator LED dan buzzer. Analisis kalibrasi juga menunjukkan bahwa sensor memberikan hasil pembacaan yang stabil, meskipun tetap diperlukan kalibrasi lanjutan. Sistem ini dinilai efektif dan efisien, serta berpotensi untuk diterapkan pada sistem distribusi air bersih skala kecil hingga menengah sebagai bagian dari pengembangan teknologi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Abstract This study aims to design and test a leakage detection system for clean water pipelines using Waterflow sensors integrated with an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The system monitors water flow in real-time and detects leakage based on the pulse difference between two sensors placed in series along the pipeline. Leakage is simulated through variations in faucet opening angles (45°, 60°, and 90°) and different flow durations. Test results show that the system can detect flowrate changes with sufficient accuracy and trigger warnings through LED indicators and a buzzer. Calibration analysis indicates that the sensors provide stable readings, although further calibration is recommended. The system is considered effective and efficient, with potential application in small to medium-scale water distribution systems, supporting the development of Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring technology.
