ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penulisan paper ini adalah untuk memberikan suatu analisis deskriptif mengenai keunggulan penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL) sebagai upaya dalam peningkatan hasil belajar ekonomi. Project Based Learning (PBL) dapat digunakan dalam upaya menumbuhkan pemahaman dan daya nalar siswa. Model pembelajaran ini melibatkan peran aktif siswa untuk menghasilkan produk atau proyek yang mampu mendorong kemampuan siswa dalam memahami suatu pengetahuan melalui sintaks yang sistematis. Project Based Learning (PBL) telah banyak digunakan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu telah menunjukkan adanya keunggulan yang dimiliki pada model Project Based Learning (PBL). Secara praktis hasil penulisan dari paper ini diharapkan mampu memberikan wawasan serta masukan bagi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran ekonomi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL). Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Project Based Learning, ekonomi The purpose of this paper is to provide a descriptive analysis of the advantages of the use of the learning model Project Based Learning (PBL) as an effort to improve the results of the economic study.
