Abstract

Cultivating multicultural awareness among adolescents, particularly at Senior High School X, West Jakarta, is seen as a response to the dynamics of Indonesian society, which is highly diverse in terms of culture, religion, and ethnicity. High school adolescents are in the development phase of self-identity and socialization, making them vulnerable to prejudice, stereotypes, and potential conflict due to a lack of understanding and appreciation of differences. A lack of multicultural awareness can hinder the creation of a harmonious, inclusive, and tolerant school environment. This training aims to increase multicultural awareness among adolescents at Senior High School X, West Jakarta, through an inclusive educational approach, encouraging mutual respect, and building a harmonious and discrimination-free school environment. This activity also aims to develop students' social skills, empathy, and critical understanding of cultural diversity, so they can become agents of tolerant and inclusive social change in society. The method used is a service learning approach consisting of four main stages: investigation, planning, implementation, and reflection. In the investigation stage, students map cultural diversity in the school environment and the surrounding community. The planning stage involves developing outreach materials and activity strategies, such as group discussions, presentations, and the creation of cross-cultural collaborative projects. The implementation phase is carried out through Cultural Day activities, cultural exchanges, and open dialogue involving all students and teachers. The reflection phase involves joint evaluation, both qualitative and quantitative, to measure changes in students' attitudes and understanding of multicultural values.
