ABSTRACT Juvenile delinquency in industrial environments has become a serious issue influenced by limited parental supervision and weak internalization of religious values due to socio-economic dynamics. This study aims to analyze the role of religious leaders in non-formal Islamic education and its effectiveness in addressing juvenile delinquency in industrial areas. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving three religious leaders and fifteen adolescents. Data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that religious leaders play significant roles as educators, mentors, and role models through activities such as religious gatherings, youth study groups, and short-term Islamic boarding programs using personal and contextual approaches. These roles have proven effective in reducing deviant behaviors such as fighting, alcohol consumption, and truancy, while also enhancing religious awareness and self-control among adolescents. This study highlights that community-based non-formal Islamic education serves as an effective preventive strategy in addressing juvenile delinquency in industrial environments. The findings imply the need for strengthening the capacity of religious leaders and providing community-based policy support to ensure the sustainability of youth development programs. ABSTRAK Kenakalan remaja di lingkungan industri telah menjadi masalah serius yang dipengaruhi oleh terbatasnya pengawasan orang tua dan lemahnya internalisasi nilai-nilai agama akibat dinamika sosial-ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran tokoh agama dalam pendidikan Islam nonformal serta efektivitasnya dalam menangani kenakalan remaja di kawasan industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan tiga tokoh agama dan lima belas remaja. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh agama memiliki peran penting sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, dan teladan melalui kegiatan seperti pengajian, kelompok kajian remaja, dan program pesantren kilat dengan menggunakan pendekatan personal dan kontekstual. Peran tersebut terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku menyimpang seperti perkelahian, konsumsi minuman keras, dan bolos sekolah, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran beragama dan pengendalian diri pada remaja. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam nonformal berbasis masyarakat merupakan strategi preventif yang efektif dalam mengatasi kenakalan remaja di lingkungan industri. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan perlunya penguatan kapasitas tokoh agama serta dukungan kebijakan berbasis masyarakat guna menjamin keberlanjutan program pembinaan remaja.
