<![CDATA[The study aims to examine the formation of Catholic youths’ spirituality of service through charitable sharing activities at Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Purbayan, Surakarta. The study is grounded in the need for faith formation that is not merely cognitive but also practical, particularly in the face of increasingly complex contemporary challenges. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven informants, comprising the parish priest, youth mentors, and Catholic youths actively involved in charitable initiatives. The findings indicate that youth participation is manifested in physical, non-physical, and material forms through various contextual social activities. Such involvement is shaped by internal factors, including empathy, faith awareness, and the search for meaning in life, as well as external factors, such as support from the Church, family, and peer environment. Furthermore, charitable sharing activities play a significant role in fostering a spirituality of service among youths, as reflected in a deeper sense of gratitude, heightened social concern, and an increased capacity to integrate faith with concrete action. The study affirms that lived experiences in service constitute an essential locus for the development of a dynamic and reflective faith. Accordingly, charitable sharing activities not only generate social impact but also serve as a means of spiritual transformation, preparing young people to become active and contextually responsive agents of the Church.]]>
