Technology is currently developing rapidly, especially in social media, social media users have not yet implemented the importance of ethics in communicating with others. The main objective of this study is to analyze social media ethics in the perspective of the Qur'an, Surah Al-Isra, verse 36. The research method used is library research by collecting data, reading and analyzing from various sources. The findings at the time of the study were that many still have not implemented communication ethics on social media, such as using AI only for popularity, and implementing social media ethics by applying the principle of tabayyun and avoiding the spread of Hoax news on social media. The results of this study show the importance of implementing social media ethics in the digital world. From the analysis of the Qur'an, Surah Al-Isra, verse 36, it can be concluded that users must remain careful and vigilant with the information received or shared because everything seen, heard and that appears in the conscience will be asked for accountability in the afterlife.
