Abstract

This study examines the influence of entrepreneurship competency education on entrepreneurial aspirations among entrepreneurship students. Specifically, this study investigates the influence of five dimensions of the Entrepreneurship Skills Education Program (PKW): recruitment and selection, learning and training, startup mentoring, work equipment procurement, and marketing and partnership development. A quantitative associative research design was used with a census technique involving 30 PKW program graduates. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. The validity and reliability of the instrument were confirmed through validity testing and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination (R²), and t-tests were used for data analysis. The results showed that recruitment and selection, learning and training, startup mentoring, and marketing and partnership development had a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial aspirations. In contrast, startup mentoring showed a negative and statistically insignificant influence. The model explained 39.7% of the variance in entrepreneurial aspirations, indicating that other factors also contribute to students' entrepreneurial intentions. These findings highlight the importance of competency-based entrepreneurship education in fostering entrepreneurial aspirations among vocational training graduates.
