PENGEMBANGAN LKPD (LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK) BERBASIS TEORI VAN HIELE PADA MATERI BANGUN DATAR DI KELAS IV MI RIADHUSSOLIHIN THOHIR YASIN

Abstract

Abstract This study was motivated by the need to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Van Hiele Theory on plane geometry material to help fourth-grade elementary school students understand concepts more systematically. This study aimed to (1) determine the feasibility of Van Hiele Theory-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on plane geometry material for fourth-grade students at MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin based on material and media experts’ assessments; and (2) determine the practicality of Van Hiele Theory-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on plane geometry material for fourth-grade students at MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin based on teachers’ and students’ responses. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), which consists of four stages. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments included media and material expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, interview guidelines, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale to determine the validity and practicality levels of the developed LKPD, while qualitative data were analyzed descriptively based on suggestions and feedback from validators and teachers. The results of this study indicated that (1) the Van Hiele Theory-based LKPD on plane geometry material for fourth-grade students at MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin met the validity criteria, with the media expert validation score reaching 93.3% in the “very valid” category, while the material expert validation score reached 75% in the “valid” category; and (2) the Van Hiele Theory-based LKPD on plane geometry material met the practicality criteria, with the teacher response score reaching 88.3% in the “very practical” category, while the student response score reached 95% in the “very practical” category. Keywords: LKPD, Van Hiele Theory, Plane Geometry, Elementary School Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya pengembangan LKPD berbasis teori Van Hiele pada materi bangun datar untuk membantu peserta didik di kelas IV sekolah dasar memahami konsep secara lebih sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Teori Van Hiele pada Materi Bangun Datar di Kelas IV MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin menurut ahli materi dan media; (2) mengetahui kepraktisan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Teori Van Hiele pada Materi Bangun Datar di Kelas IV MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin menurut guru dan siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate) yang terdiri dari empat tahap. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket validasi ahli media dan materi, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, pedoman wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan skala likert untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan LKPD yang dikembangkan, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan saran dan masukan dan validator dan guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKPD berbasis teori Van Hiele pada materi bangun datar di kelas IV MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh skor sebesar 93,3% dengan kategori sangat valid, sedangkan ahli materi memperoleh skor sebesar 75% dengan kategori valid. (2) LKPD berbasis teori Van Hiele pada materi bangun datar di kelas IV MI Riadhussolihin Thohir Yasin memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan respon guru memperoleh skor sebesar 88,3% dengan kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan respon peserta didik mem;eroleh skor sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat praktis.
