The aim of this study is to describe a combined strategy for fostering pupils’ love for the Qur’an at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) Hasbullah in Karangdowo Village, Tuban Regency. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method involving observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results indicate that the Hasbullah Al-Qur’an Education Centre implements learning strategies that combine the An-Nahdliyah method, sorogan, basic text study, and a teacher-as-role-model approach. These strategies have been shown to improve students’ motivation and reading quality by providing reinforcement both collectively and individually. This study confirms that varied, personalised, and role-modelling-based learning strategies play a significant role in fostering a love for the Qur’an in children as learners
