Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa Bidang Ejaan dan Semantik pada Pamflet Kegiatan Organisasi UKK dan UKM UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan menganalisis kesalahan ejaan dan semantik pada pamflet organisasi kemahasiswaan (UKK dan UKM) di UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak dan catat, lalu dianalisis melalui reduksi dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 32 kesalahan ejaan dan 8 kesalahan semantik. Kesalahan ejaan meliputi kekeliruan penggunaan huruf kapital, huruf miring/tebal, tanda baca, kata serapan, dan diksi. Faktor utama kesalahan ini adalah minimnya pemahaman kaidah kebahasaan serta absennya proses penyuntingan sebelum pamflet dipublikasikan. This qualitative descriptive research aims to analyze spelling and semantic errors in student organization pamphlets (UKK and UKM) at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Data is collected by the method of watching and recording, then analyzed through data reduction and interpretation. The results showed that there were 32 spelling errors and 8 semantic errors. Spelling errors include misuse of capital letters, italics/bold, punctuation, absorption words, and diction. The main factor of this error is the lack of understanding of the linguistic rules and the absence of the editing process before the pamphlet is published.
