Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kemampuan numerasi siswa ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Bandung kelas VII. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 siswa dari VII D yang masing-masing memiliki gaya belajar auditori, visual dan kinestetis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket gaya belajar dan tes kemampuan numerasi pada materi suhu dan kalor. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil kemampuan numerasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Siswa dengan gaya belajar Visual memiliki keunikan berupa kreatifitas danĀ  hasil jawaban nya pun detail dan benar semua. 2) Siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori cenderung memiliki sifat masa bodoh dengan unsur keindahan lembar jawaban dan tidak memberikan alasan secara detail. 3) Siswa dengan gaya belajar Kinestetik memang cenderung mengumpulkan jawaban dengan cepat tetapi mereka tidak menjabarkan jawaban secara detail bahkan tidak juga secara ilmiah dan tidak mementingkan keindahan lembar jawaban.This research aims to describe and analyze students' numeracy abilities in terms of learning styles. This research was carried out at SMPN 4 Bandung class VII. The subjects in this research were 31 students from VII D, each of whom had auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning styles. This research uses a qualitative approach. The instruments used were a learning style questionnaire and a numeracy ability test on temperature and heat material. Data were analyzed descriptively to describe the results of students' numeracy abilities. The research results show that: 1) Students with a visual learning style are unique in the form of creativity and their answers are all detailed and correct. 2) Students with an auditory learning style tend to be indifferent to the beauty of the answer sheet and do not provide detailed reasons. 3) Students with a Kinesthetic learning style tend to collect answers quickly but they do not explain the answers in detail, not even scientifically and do not attach importance to the beauty of the answer sheet.
